I may now disclose that Queen Games has licensed "Wabash Cannonball" from Winsome Games. Queen is an established, very capable firm with a long history of excellent games, including the Spiel des Jahres winner "Alhambra" and the excellent "Metro" train game, both by the talented Dirk Henn. "Wabash Cannonball" designer Harry Wu and I and the other Winsome folks, both in Pittsburgh and in Germany, are delighted to license "Wabash Cannonball" to Queen. The license, executed last May, grants Queen worldwide rights and the game will be available in multiple languages.

I own the original as well but usually the artwork and production quality of Queen Games are hardly resistable - when can we buy it?

Awesome! Maybe I can get other people to play it now! While I really enjoy Winsome Games, the lack of graphic design seems to turn a lot of people off. The Queen treatment should help a lot!
