Apparently, I'm not remotely familiar with this particular nickname. Got in with brute force.

Now to do the hourlong Google project that's masquerading for a hard puzzle.

Not the finest evening of puzzles.

Horrible puzzle. There are a whole lot that could qualify as having those in that color. Without searching for the actual one with that as a proper name you cannot get this. This shouldn't happen for the easy one.

I remember getting frustrated whenever I was doing one of the easy puzzles that just didn't seem exactly easy. But now I undertand that while creating the puzzle something that might seem easy to me (because I know the answer), might actually be obscure for others. I guess I need to find that line where it is easy enough to take a little bit of time to solve, but not too obscure.

ahhhhhh bad multiple steps, for anyone that hasn't gotten it when I googled the hint it's below the state park. It is also in the north east.

I have to say that multiple unclear steps with many branches should never be in an easy puzzle, though ok for hard.

The Hypercross puzzle called "Wild African Safari" needed an image correction for the furthest-right-down clue. I was able to post the corrected image but a bug caused the whole word to disappear (used to start at Row #2 and Column #15 and go down from there). I expect that Tanga Joe will help me correct it, so just in case, here is what the corrected image will have over the top of the upper image: "Brand of Soap"

Some people were confusing the odd-looking bathroom product for an odd-looking vegetable!

Thanks for your patience on this correction. In the mean time you should still be able to solve the puzzle sans that final word.

Cheers!

Freelancelot posted a Hypercross puzzle called "Wild African Safari"... my brain is still asleep, so I haven't solved it yet.

However, doesn't the left bottom across one look like a picture of what George Bush and Ross Perot's offspring might look like?

Alfred E. Neuman, the Mad Magazine mascot does look a lot like Ross Perot.

I took a guess at the "theme" but was wrong. Unless I see further salt, I don't think I'll bother.
